  • Which chocolate manufacturers/suppliers do you use in your confections?

    Chocolate Maya uses only the highest quality, traceable chocolate couverture including but not limited to Felchlin, Valrhona, Meso Cacao and many other exiting yearly finds.

  • What shipping service does Chocolate Maya use?

    We believe in timely and quality delivery therefore FedEx is our choice.

  • Will my chocolate melt during the hot summer months?

    Due to the perishability of our chocolate, we use special packaging to protect the chocolate from heat during this time. However, we reserve the right to hold orders until the weather cools. Chocolate orders received Wednesday through Friday will ship the following Monday in an effort to avoid weekend layovers.

  • What is your return policy?

    Our goal at Chocolate Maya is to completely satisfy our customers. However, due to the perishable nature of our product, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for items that are not damaged or defective. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately.

  • Can I modify my order after placing it?

    No, we do not ship overseas at this time.

  • How long will my chocolate keep?

    We recommend against delaying gratification. Chocolate Maya confections do not include preservatives, artificial flavors, or compounds, so they are best consumed immediately. They will stay fresh for up to 10 days. If properly stored, chocolate bars keep for anywhere from 12 to 24 months

  • What is the best way to taste chocolate?

    For best results, serve bars and confections at room temperature. Begin tastings from the highest cacao percentage chocolate and work towards sweeter chocolate. We recommend drinking water or hot tea between chocolates.

  • How should I store my chocolate?

    Truffles and chocolate bars like cool and dry with temperatures of 57-64 °F (14-18 °C) with a humidity lower than 40%. Cool, dark and odorless cupboards are ideal. Do not refrigerate them (fridges are high in humidity).
